Posted by in Uncategorized on February 16, 2010

Like most Frankfurt previews, we get to see the car but not much of the details yet, so let’s just feast our eyes on this new second generation Mazda 6 for now and wait until more details surface.
Mazda say the new second generation 2008 Mazda 6 is lighter than it’s predecessor – something that breaks the tradition of newly released cars getting heavier and heavier with every generation. The new Mazda 6 does not share a platform with the Mondeo’s EUCD platform, instead uses a revised version of first generation CD3 platform.
From these photos, you can see three variants are available – a sedan, a liftback and a station wagon.

Mazda mazda5 Sport is for who need affordable, fuel-efficient family transportation that’s easy to maneuver in traffic and a snap to park, the Mazda 5 is a strong choice. As far as competition, the Kia Rondo is the most direct rival to this Mazda. The similarly sized Rondo offers available V6 power and is rated to carry seven passengers. The Kia has a performance advantage, but it lacks the 5’s convenient sliding doors. Both small family haulers offer smooth, refined rides and boast inviting cabins with strong build quality.
