Dallas-Fort Worth new car sales fell 29.9% in 2009
FILE/AP U.S. new car sales dropped 21 percent in 2009 from 2008.The recession cut deeply into local new car and truck sales last year. All four major counties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area reported drops of at least 25 percent in new vehicle sales from 2008 levels.
